This privacy policy explains how Support Local Marketing LLC ("SupportLocal", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website at https://supportlocal.io, the SupportLocal software platform, and any related support, marketing, or integrations (together, the "Services").
SupportLocal is review request and reputation management software. It helps local businesses ask customers for Google reviews by text and email, reply to reviews, reactivate past customers, and keep their Google Business Profile current.

Summary
- We collect the account, business, billing, and customer contact details needed to run the Services.
- Businesses that use SupportLocal upload their own customers' names and phone numbers. Those businesses are responsible for having permission to contact them.

1. What information we collect
We collect personal information you give us when you create an account, request information, contact support, or use features of the platform. This may include:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Business name, address, website, and Google Business Profile details
- Billing details and subscription history
- Login credentials and authentication data
- Customer contact information you upload or connect, such as customer names, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Messages sent and received through the platform, including review requests and replies
- Support requests and any information you include in them
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website or use the platform, we collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for this. See the Cookies section below.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from services you connect to your account, such as your Google Business Profile, your CRM, or your phone system. We may also receive business information from public sources and from marketing partners.
Your responsibility for customer data
If you use the Services to upload, import, or connect your customers' contact information, you represent that you have all consents and legal authority required to contact those people by text, email, or other electronic means. You will be asked to confirm this during setup and when you upload contacts. SupportLocal does not independently verify how you obtained customer contact information and relies on your representation that it was collected lawfully.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe. SupportLocal does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Create and manage your account
- Send review requests, follow-ups, and other messages on your behalf to the customers you choose
- Process billing and send receipts and account notices
- Respond to support requests
- Monitor usage, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the platform secure
- Improve our products and develop new features
- Send you product updates and marketing about SupportLocal, which you can opt out of at any time
- Comply with legal obligations
Case studies and marketing use
We may use business-level information to create case studies or marketing material about the Services. This can include your business name, logo, publicly posted reviews, testimonials you give us, and high-level results such as an increase in review count. We will not publish your customers' personal information. If you do not want your business used this way, email us and we will honor the request going forward.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process personal information when we have a valid basis to do so, including your consent, performance of our contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate business interests in running and improving the Services.
6. Artificial intelligence features
Some features use artificial intelligence provided by third-party providers, for example to draft suggested replies to reviews. Content you submit to those features may be processed by the provider to generate a result. We do not permit providers to use your data to train their public models. You may choose not to use AI features.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it by law. Data may remain in backups for a limited time after deletion.
8. How we keep information safe
We use technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, authentication protections, and secure infrastructure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will never defeat our safeguards. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
9. Information from minors
The Services are for businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of certain uses of your data under state privacy laws
To exercise any of these rights, email support@supportlocal.io. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Customers of businesses that use SupportLocal
If you received a message through SupportLocal from a business you did business with, that business controls your information. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages from that business through our platform. For access or deletion requests, contact the business directly, or email us and we will help route your request.
11. Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no accepted industry standard for them.
12. United States state privacy rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. 13. Text messaging and mobile opt-in data
Mobile numbers provided to or through the platform are used only to send the communications the sending business chose, such as review requests, follow-ups, appointment or service notifications, and replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or consent information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
Anyone can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
14. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email or in the platform.
